By now, you may have figured out that all the sisters of This Blue Dress are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We love our church and are so grateful for the peace and happiness that comes from the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Family is extremely important to us and to our church. In 1995, President Gordon B Hinckley read The Family: A Proclamation to the World at a conference. The document details the importance and sacredness of marriage, families, and all human life. It also declares the responsibilities we have to love, care for, and strengthen our families. Many members of our church have this document displayed in their homes, and our friend Karina saw a way to make The Family Proclamation even more special: by adding family pictures behind the words. She began making personalized versions of the document through her business Custom Family Proclamations.

For the files: Even though the custom proclamation files are only $10, Karina will occasionally run promotions on her Facebook page, granting an additional discount.
For the prints: Look online for promo codes! Mariah used the Father’s Day promo code from Walgreens to score 50% off an 11 x 14 poster of her proclamation, paying only six dollars for the print.
For the frame: Hobby Lobby almost always has a 40% off coupon that you can use in-store or online, and they have a huge selection of adorable frames. Ross, Marshall’s, and TJ Maxx have great prices on trendy frames, too.
