Meet Madison! She loves to write about self-improvement–anything from workouts to tips to reduce stress, great food, and personal experiences.
Hey guys, I’m Madison, the youngest of the sisters! My friends and family call me Mads or Madison, not Maddie (common presumption of many strangers). I am 19-years-old and living the college life. I balance being a full-time student, a part-time worker, a relief society counselor, a sister, a girlfriend, and an aunt. Life is overwhelming, but let me tell ya, it is amazing being surrounded by so many people that I treasure.
I finished my first year at a community college and am wrapping up my first semester after transferring to a university! My passion is music, and I am pursuing a degree in music therapy. As I continue my college education, I hope to learn how to play piano so that I can apply it to my work, church, and personal life.
I recently worked part-time at a cupcakery. It sounds glamorous, but I was constantly being told “you have frosting on your arm”. It was a messy and fattening lifestyle, but I worked off the calories by lifting massive bags of flour. The calories I haven’t worked off are the ones I gain from eating so many gummy bears. I am OBSESSED with Haribo gummy bears, and I have no shame in sharing my love for these little candies (especially the pineapple ones!!). Although my life of working, going to school, and being a full-time sister is amazing, my life hasn’t always been a piece of (cup)cake.
In high school, I was diagnosed with conversion disorder, which expressed itself in the form of non-epileptic seizures. I hope throughout this blog, I can share my experience in more detail with you and how it has strengthened my faith in my Savior, Jesus Christ. He is my rock, and the love I have for Him and for my Father in Heaven is unshakeable. I am not a mother or a wife yet, but I aspire to be both in the near future.
For now, I rock the aunt-life with my nine nieces and nephews, who I adore more than life itself. My older sisters have each taught me something valuable, and they continue to let me learn from them. Maegan, Tara, Mariah, MaLee, and Makayla are the best sisters a girl could ask for.
I am a fan of gummy bears, Dory, and being my own fashionista. I look forward to sharing my adventures with you. This is one crazy train ride with six sisters, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
This is Madison Crouch, the Crouch sister Caboose, wishing you a warm welcome to the ThisBlueDress blog.
