I had no idea what Wolf’ems were until just a few years ago, when my sister-in-law’s new family served the treat at her beautiful beach side wedding reception.
Wolf’ems are campfire biscuit cups filled with anything you desire. I heard the name comes from the fact that they are so good that you just wolf’em down!
In addition to the classic s’more, this is a now a traditional treat my family enjoys when we spend an evening around the fire pit. Wolf’ems are easy to make- you just gotta have the right equipment.

How to Make Wolf’ems:
First, we opened a can of biscuit dough (we used a generic jumbo buttermilk kind) and wrapped one biscuit around a Wolf’em stick. It helps to spray the stick with cooking spray for a clean biscuit removal.
We went to the fire to cook the biscuits. Staying a few inches away from the flames, we rotated the biscuits until golden brown. This took between five and eight minutes.
Then, it was filling time! We popped the biscuits off of the sticks and had a little bowl to put goodies in. We used blueberry yogurt and fresh strawberries.
I definitely see why they call them Wolf’ems.
The biscuit turned into this soft, perfect base that would pair with any filling you can think of. And the hint of smokiness in it from the campfire was just SO good.
There’s about a million variations you can make, and it’s hard to go wrong.
