Lasagna Roll-Ups are a great twist on the classic homemade lasagna we all love. Made with the same ingredients, it’s a recipe your family will be asking for over and over!
I made this as a “fancy dinner” for my parents when I was in high school. I was so proud of it because it paired great with the candlelight and elegant tablecloth. In college, when I was trying to impress my now-husband, this is the recipe I made for him. Let’s just say: it worked! Haha!
I love this recipe because it combines the classic lasagna ingredients with an effortlessly elegant roll, making it perfect for casual Sunday dinners, romantic evenings, and everything in between.
8 Lasagna Noodles (cooked)
15 oz Ricotta Cheese
1 lb. Ground Beef (cooked)
1 cup Shredded Cheese*
½-1 diced tomato
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
1 tsp Oregano
½ jar of Red Pasta Sauce
*can substitute parmesan cheese for shredded cheese if you prefer.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine ricotta cheese, ground beef, HALF of the shredded cheese, tomato, and seasonings. Cook lasagna noodles and lay on a pre-sprayed baking sheet. Spread the mixture evenly over the noodles. Roll the pasta.
Cover the bottom of a glass baking dish with a few spoonfuls of the red pasta sauce. Place rolled noodles snugly into the dish. Cover with red sauce and the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheese. Cover with tin foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
