Here are my favorite special Valentine’s Day breakfast ideas for kids and your whole family! With these easy ideas, you’re sure to find the best way to make your little valentines feel special!
One of my favorite parts of Valentine’s Day morning is making a fun Valentine’s Day breakfast for my kids! It’s one of my fun holiday traditions for every special occasion. It’s the first thing we do in the morning and it just starts the day off in the best way! It’s so much fun and it just takes a quick trip to the grocery store.

Heart-Shaped Breakfast Foods
One of the easiest ways to make your Valentines Day breakfast extra special is to make everything into a heart shape. It’s amazing all you can do with a small heart-shaped cookie cutter like this one. I highly recommend a metal one, so you can make pancakes and not have to worry about it melting.
Heart-Shaped Pancakes
To add a fun twist to this meal, I stacked these pancakes with strawberry jam and easy heart-shaped red fruit! It’s my favorite way to serve (and eat!) pancakes.

Heart-Shaped Eggs in Toast
This is a great option for a healthy breakfast, especially for kids who prefer savory over sweet! Pair it with bacon, and some heart-shaped cheese for whole lot of yumminess.

Heart-Shaped Waffles

Heart-Shaped Fruit
There is nothing as delicious as fresh berries, especially paired with other breakfast foods. Add whipped cream and you’ve got a very sweet treat!

Cinnamon Roll Heart
Bake your cinnamon rolls in the shape of a heart or individual hearts! However, I prefer to arrange them after baking, like this, so it’s easy for my big crew to pull them apart! This is a great option if you’re feeding a big crowd, instead of having to make individual plates.

Fresh Strawberries
Just cut a little notch in the top and slice them top to bottom! You’ve just made the perfect heart-shaped accent for any Valentine’s breakfast plate!
Lots of Love with Valentine Words
How do you spell LOVE? I spell it F-O-O-D 😉 But here are some other ways to spell it out for your special Valentine’s Day breakfast!
I ♡ U in Blueberries
This is a great idea for using simple ingredients! It doesn’t take too much prep work, but turns out so cute! A great way to give them their daily dose of love.

Spell Out LOVE with bacon, eggs, etc.
Using whatever food you have on hand, shape it into the word LOVE! It’s easier if you chop things up, so you have a lot of pieces to work with. This is a really fun meal!

Powdered Sugar
With a piece of paper, cut out L-O-V-E or even XOXO and sprinkle powdered sugar in the outline. When you remove the paper, a sweet message will be visible for your child!

Make it Pink—
By adding food coloring or mashed berries to your pancake batter, (or buying a mix for red velvet pancakes!) you’re ready for a cute Valentines Day breakfast. This special ingredient can be a perfect way to enhance an already fun recipe!
Pink Waffles or Pancakes
Use a little food coloring in your pancake mix (or a red velvet waffle mix) to make adorable pink waffles! Try out this mini waffle maker (our favorite way to make pink waffles!) Top with maple syrup and you’ve got the ultimate breakfast they will always remember!

Pink Sprinkles
A fun way to spice up regular pancakes! Or top a vanilla donut with a little bit of pink and red sprinkles, and it’s an automatic Valentine’s Day treat!

Pink Frosting on Cinnamon Rolls
Cinnamon rolls are already such a fun food, but the pink frosting tastes it to the next level!

Pink Donuts
It’s usually very easy to find different flavors of pink or red donuts around this time! They are a perfect breakfast option for busy parents who still want to make fun memories on Valentine’s Day morning.

Valentine Breakfast Charcuterie
Put all of these ideas together into a mini charcuterie and serve them breakfast in bed. You could also serve strawberry pancakes, French toast, a strawberry smoothie, or heart-shaped fruit! Don’t forget the orange juice!
